C.E.A. Oasi la Valle

The C.E.A. Oasis Valley, (Environmental Education Center – Laboratory planning) has been duly authorized by the Marche Region in 1996. The area, whose main characteristic is to be a “wet”, covers about 25 hectares in the flat area near the river Tronto, Via Piave 62. The habitat includes several ponds where there are fish such as carp and tench and aquatic rodents such as “nutria”. You can also observe some specimens of geese – swan, mallard well as various bird species including herons, egret, night heron, the cuckoo, the reed warbler, the bittern, the pyro -piro, the hen d ‘water, the pendulum. Nearby seat represented by an old country house, you can admire specimens of deer, ostriches, donkeys, horses and ponies, sheep, goats, coniali, peacocks, pheasants, hens and roosters, pigeons, quail and even a heifer breed Marche. The vegetation of the Oasis, type “riparbie” includes, in the area of ​​ponds, various types of poplars, willows and reeds, while near the headquarters of the Reserve and along the bike path about 4 km long that winds through of the same, with oaks and robinie- pseudo acacia. Near the cycle track is an outdoor fitness trail with numerous wooden tools to keep fit. The Oasis Valley, as well as being a focal point for environmental groups of the Valley is also a social gathering for the presence of n. 80 gardens that the City of Spinetoli awarded a free loan to as many elderly retirees for cultivation.
